HC stolen property recovered

Arrest warrants were obtained yesterday for three individuals involved in a residential burglary that occurred on July 12th.  It was that on the afternoon of the 12th that a Ponce de Leon couple returned to find their residence had been burglarized and approximately $40,000.00 in jewelry and other items stolen.  A lead on the case was received the following week from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office who had arrested three individuals on unrelated charges after responding to a suspicious vehicle call.  All three suspects were residing in Bay County at the time of the burglary and had traveled to Holmes County to go swimming at a local state park.  In the process of conducting the investigation, all but $2,000.00 worth of property was recovered.
