Tune-Up Outdoor Power Equipment Tips:
*CHECK THE SPARK PLUG on gas-powered equipment; clean or replace if necessary. A dirty connection can prevent optimal performance from the engine or prevent it from working at all.
*CHECK OIL LEVELS to ensure your equipment has the sufficient amount. Improper oil levels can cause significant wear on your engine components.
* Check and REPLACE ANY DIRTY FILTERS, which can reduce power and fuel efficiency.
*REVIEW EQUIPMENT OWNER'S MANUAL for performance recommendations and a detailed listing of maintenance instructions. This is particularly important if significant time has lapsed since your last use.
*ENSURE FUEL IS FRESH, especially after long periods of inactivity.
